Kathy+Jon are getting hitched!!

Here are the winners of the most recent Bridal Inquirer E.Session Give-Away! A good friend of mine Jennifer, who started http://bridalinquirer.com/, every once in a while does some cool give aways on her awesome wedding website! This is actually the second one we have done together and I am planning to do another one sometime later this year. So the winners this time of the free engagement session were a lovely couple by the names of Kathy and Jon! I met up with these two love birds in Laguna Beach where we took a stroll through town and got some amazing portraits! Kathy and Jon were such a pleasure to work with even though this was their “first time” getting pictures taken together. Well, Jon is a photography enthusiast, and has his own camera and lenses, but apparently they never get in the picture together. SO, I remedied that. So here they are, Kathy and Jon lookin’ all happy and in love

Baby Portraits with Kirra

Had the pleasure of photographing little Kirra. Kirra is about 2 months old and beautiful. She was a very good model for me and my camera I haven’t had the chance to do many baby portraits in a while, but Kirra made it very easy for me! I think she found her calling

Got a really cool basket and fur blanket for the shoot which worked out well.

Was able to snag a shot in between crying on this one. Apparently she did not want the bears stealing her spotlight

In the hood

Got a chance to get out today and do a little shooting with my pal Laura. Just took a stroll down to the tide pools in our neighborhood to get some fun photos. She took way more than I did, but I got a couple cool shots. The waves have been big for whatever reason. Some people say Tsunami’s… I think it was the storms we have been getting.
